"A Different Kind of Fix" is the third studio album by English indie rock ensemble Bombay Bicycle Club. Released on August 26, 2011, by Island Records in the United Kingdom and later on January 17, 2012, on A&M/Octone Records in the United States.

Chris Roberts of BBC Music provided a vivid description, stating that the lead single, "Shuffle," encapsulates the essence of the album. Constructed upon a looping, dance-inducing piano sample, the track embodies the quintessence of late-summer vibes, blending 75% exuberance with 25% melancholy. Tracks like "What You Want" and "Bad Timing" drift in on similar breezes, albeit with less distinctiveness and more ambivalence. "Lights Out, Words Gone" ventures into epic territories, featuring a lively white-funk riff that transcends into something akin to soul, exuding warmth reminiscent of Foals but with its own unique charm.
