"Synkronized," the fourth studio album by the English funk and acid jazz ensemble Jamiroquai, made its mark on the music scene with its release on June 8, 1999, by Work Group in the United States and on June 14, 1999, by S2 Records in the United Kingdom. Notably, the album saw the departure of bassist Stuart Zender during recording, leading to the recruitment of Nick Fyffe as his replacement.

Infused with elements of funk, acid jazz, and disco, "Synkronized" showcased the band's eclectic musical prowess. Its impact was palpable as it soared to the top spot on the UK Albums Chart and secured a respectable position at number 28 on the US Billboard 200.

The UK edition of the album boasted a special treat for fans with the inclusion of the bonus track "Deeper Underground," a single released the prior year that soared to the top of the UK singles chart, becoming Jamiroquai's sole number-one hit in their home country.
