In January 2018, Khruangbin released their second album, "Con Todo el Mundo." The title was inspired by bassist Laura Lee Ochoa's Mexican-American grandfather, who would often ask, "How do you love me?" ("¿Cómo me quieres?"), and only accepted the response, "Con todo el mundo" ("with all the world").
 
The band explained that the title also reflects the diverse range of musical influences that inspired the album, including those from Spain and the Middle East, specifically Iran.
