Khruangbin's first studio album, "The Universe Smiles Upon You," was released in November 2015 on Night Time Stories.
Max Savage Levenson, in his review for Paste, described it as "a subtle dance, a constellation of small movements and highly nuanced arrangements that unfolds seamlessly, like ripples on the water." Peter Helman of Stereogum also praised the album, calling it "both groove-heavy and dreamy, evoking the sensation of being deep in the wilderness."
