"LCD Soundsystem" is the debut studio album by the American rock band LCD Soundsystem, released on January 24, 2005, through DFA and Capitol Records in the United States and EMI internationally. The album features a diverse range of genres, including dance-punk, electronica, indie rock, and dance music. It received critical acclaim upon release and was nominated for the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album. Several singles were released to promote the album, including the breakout hit "Daft Punk Is Playing at My House," which topped the UK Dance Chart in March 2005.
