"Led Zeppelin" (also referred to as Led Zeppelin I) is the debut album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin, released on January 13, 1969, in the United States and March 31, 1969, in the United Kingdom by Atlantic Records. The album was recorded in September and October 1968 at London’s Olympic Studios shortly after the band's formation.

This album features a mixture of original compositions and reimagined versions of contemporary blues and folk songs. The sessions, funded by guitarist Jimmy Page and manager Peter Grant at a cost of £1,782 (equivalent to £37,047 today), were completed before the band had a formal record deal. Page served as the producer, working with Robert Plant (vocals, harmonica), John Paul Jones (bass, keyboards), and John Bonham (drums), with Viram Jasani providing additional percussion on one track. Glyn Johns handled the mixing, and the iconic album cover, which depicts the Hindenburg disaster, was designed by George Hardie.

Led Zeppelin quickly became a commercial success, reaching the top 10 on album charts in both the UK and the US. Despite the album's lengthy tracks being less suited for radio singles, "Good Times Bad Times" was released with "Communication Breakdown" as the B-side. Many tracks from the album have since become classic rock staples.
