"Riot!" is the second studio album by the American rock sensation Paramore, hitting shelves in the United States on June 12, 2007, via Fueled by Ramen. Serving as a follow-up to their debut offering, "All We Know Is Falling" (2005), this album was crafted under the production prowess of David Bendeth and penned by band members Hayley Williams and Josh Farro, with occasional co-writing contributions from Bendeth and fellow bandmate Zac Farro.
 
Exploring a diverse array of styles while staying true to their signature sound, "Riot!" drew comparisons to the music of Kelly Clarkson and Avril Lavigne. Notably, its album cover bore a striking resemblance to the artwork of No Doubt's "Rock Steady" (2001).
Receiving acclaim from music critics for its sound and noted crossover potential, "Riot!" found success in the United States, soaring to number fifteen on the Billboard 200 chart. Its achievements were further solidified when it attained triple-platinum status on April 20, 2021, as certified by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The lead single, "Misery Business," became the band's breakthrough hit, climbing to top-thirty and forty positions on charts in the US and is credited with introducing Paramore to mainstream audiences. Follow-up singles "Crushcrushcrush" and "That's What You Get" also achieved platinum certifications from the RIAA, further cementing the album's status as a commercial and critical success.
