"Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols" is the sole studio album by the English punk rock band the Sex Pistols, released on October 28, 1977, by Virgin Records in the UK and on November 11, 1977, by Warner Bros. Records in the US. The recording process was tumultuous due to the band's internal conflicts, leading to lineup changes. Original bassist Glen Matlock departed early in the recording process but is credited as a co-writer on all but two tracks. He played bass and sang backing vocals only on "Anarchy in the U.K." Sid Vicious, who replaced Matlock, contributed to two songs, though his bass playing was often substituted by guitarist Steve Jones due to Vicious's lack of proficiency. Drummer Paul Cook, Jones, and singer Johnny Rotten appear on every track. The recording sessions were overseen alternately by producers Chris Thomas and Bill Price, with each song jointly credited to both due to the mixed nature of the final album.

Upon its release, the Sex Pistols were already a controversial band. Despite many sales bans at major retailers, the album debuted at number one on the UK Album Charts, achieving advance orders of 125,000 copies and going gold within a few weeks on November 17. It remained a bestseller for nearly a year, spending 48 weeks in the top 75. The album has been certified platinum by the RIAA and has seen several reissues, the latest in 2017.

The album's raw energy and Johnny Rotten's sneering vocal style have significantly influenced many bands, musicians, and the music industry. Often regarded as the most influential punk album, it is frequently cited as one of the greatest and most important albums of all time. In 1987, Rolling Stone magazine named it the second-best album of the previous 20 years, following the Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band." The magazine also ranked it 73rd on their list of the 500 greatest albums of all time in 2020. In 2006, Time magazine included it in their list of the 100 greatest albums ever.
