"Wall of Eyes" is the second studio album by the English rock band The Smile, released on January 26, 2024, through XL Recordings. Recorded at Oxford’s Courtyard Studio and Abbey Road Studios in London, the album was produced by Sam Petts-Davies.
The album’s creation began during the band’s tour for their debut album, "A Light for Attracting Attention" (2022). Following the release of the single “Bending Hectic” in June 2023, The Smile officially announced "Wall of Eyes" with the lead single of the same name in November. They continued to build anticipation with the January 2024 release of the single “Friend of a Friend.” Both singles were accompanied by music videos directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.
"Wall of Eyes" received critical acclaim upon release and charted in the top ten on several national album charts. The Smile is set to embark on a European tour starting in March 2024.
