"Where's My Utopia?" is the second studio album by the British rock band Yard Act, hitting the airwaves on March 1, 2024, via Island Records.

 

Preceded by four singles, including "Dream Job" and "Petroleum," the album presents a departure from their debut, "The Overload" (2022), with a more pronounced disco influence.

 

Upon its release, "Where's My Utopia?" received widespread critical acclaim. With a score of 88 out of 100 on the review aggregator Metacritic, based on fifteen reviews, the album earned recognition for its "universal acclaim." Marcy Donelson of AllMusic described it as a "wry, riveting, chaotic, and infectious" album that surpasses their impressive debut. Neive McCarthy of Dork awarded the album a perfect score, praising it as transformative and highlighting Yard Act's unparalleled authenticity. McCarthy noted that the introspective lyrics create a complex emotional tapestry, surpassing their debut in depth. Rishi Shah of NME commended "Where's My Utopia?" for dismantling genre boundaries, applauding its exploration of disco and art rock among other styles.
